I think this is the primary reason, People vote for Trump. They want a fair society. The Left wants a racist society (like in early USA) where color of your skin decides your future. Left wants indoctrination and communism where as right wants Liberty and Freedom.

Where is the fairness in flatly denying that racism exists in subtle ways and should be dealt with where it exists? What indoctrination stops your heart from opening to that possibility?

That is a big maybe. We don't know if he left before or after the revolution. Not all people left the communists countries with a passport. Actually just a few, even after the revolution.
