It's time to really appreciate that people, as a global population, disperse themselves at a blinding rate. Viruses with large asymptomatic spreads are not the insidious entity, it is the host with unlimited range to appear anywhere in the world within the life of the infection.

How about making our economy more anti-fragile? For example by allowing for "less efficient" supply chains. Imho there's a lot of market interference which incentives "consultants" to over-engineer efficiency which leaves us unprepared.
