I really don't get it. This breaks separation of concerns. A stock exchange's function is to provide a venue for liquid secondary markets, it has nothing to do with corporate governance.

This also seems to suspiciously build upon the financial fallacy that long term strategies somehow lead to long term stock appreciation while short term strategies lead to short term stock appreciation. Markets anticipate.

I love this idea and have heard Eric speak of it. Strong founders like Bezos and Zuck can accomplish long term thinking in today’s existing markets. Would more managers be able to think long term without the investor/analyst pressure? Is it about ability or %ownership/control?

What's the TLDR? Bids only? No short selling? Don't leave the shorts out, they add so much fun to the market!

Think the main thing is long term stock holders get more voting power. LTSE has a proprietary system for tracking ownership and tying it to governance. Incentivized lower turnover / more stable pricing and prevents hostile activity from short term holders
