At this point in time, did you start to feel like Airbnb had more potential that you originally thought? Was it a sudden change or more gradual? Great snapshot into startup history.
I gradually got more sold on the idea during the month after we accepted them. But even by the end of the batch I didn't realize how big it would ultimately get. In fact I may still not realize that now. It is after all still growing.
Was this the genesis of "do things that don't scale" or did you already have that idea?
