"Just say it" is not good advice for many people. It completely depends on who you are and what you have to lose.
In pretty much every society there are true things you'd get in terrible trouble for saying.

What kind of "trouble" though? We should play these things out rather than dwell in vagueness. Not saying there aren't consequences, but there's also plenty of evidence you can say insane things and gain, I don't know, the most powerful office in the world.

Saying that our perception of the world must always be imperfect is pretty uncontroversial, I wouldn't characterize that as denying the existence of a true state if affairs. Unless I'm misunderstanding you?
