The tell-tale sign you probably need fire yourself as an engineer from the team is when you think work starts at 6 PM—the time you can finally start programming after a full day.
Apparently in my case that’s become 9 PM

It is not helping when I am working for someone else. But I really liked this idea when I read it on your blog.

Did you ever feel guilty for consistently waking up at 11am?
-
No. I wasn't sleeping longer than other people, just at a different time. I'd been on that schedule since college.

I find the best time for me is between 0600 - 1500.

What did you do from noon to dinner?
-
All the work that wasn't programming. I'd write code if I had any free time during that window, but minor stuff that could be interrupted.

More like 10pm - 2am. Up by 8am. Sometimes fix a 1hr nap.

Did you workout or otherwise get in some physical activity?
-
I would often go running during the daylight hours. Not often enough though.
