An idea for saying controversial things without getting cancelled: share a social media account between two people, and don't disclose who said what.

You could more easily just post anonymously (or under a pseudonym.) People don't do that more often specifically because they want to promote the message with their brand, or they want to build their brand with that message.
Someone using an anonymous account has to worry about being exposed. It often happens.

It also doesn't achieve the type attribution that sharing an account does. By sharing, you take responsibility for the message, but at a degree of remove. It's like Chatham House rules, except for Twitter.
