  that depends on your values. If you're trying to create a growth business it's absolutely true. If you're trying to make a living doing what you enjoy, a niche is a great thing to find.

  Made this mistake myself with my current project. Didn't define the niche and now I'm trying to scramble to get into one. I agree, it would have been much easier to start out instead of crawling in.
