Capitalism gives opportunity to make own decisions on when to do what, i.e. accumulate a buffer of money to exchange it for a rest time. Unlike socialism which forces outcome and restricts freedom of choice.

I think the important, but missing component is classes on the matter of how to pragmatically live/work in capitalism (or socialism depending on which system is in place), in mid/high school. We teach fundamentals of many disciplines, but not a systematic view on them.

Placing industriousness above health is the culprit. Tons of long work days in all societies. Plus, nothing in capitalism says you have to have crappy health benefits. Politicians say that to appease their donors.
