Twitter is a community of the brightest minds on Earth. If a sufficient number of people on Twitter are mad at an action, they have critically analyzed the action and perhaps have classified it to be Toxic.
There are a lot of smart people on Twitter, but they're disproportionately unlikely to participate in mobs.
