It's curious how the arguments about how cancel culture doesn't exist always take the form of simply asserting, loudly, that it doesn't exist. Usually when something is true, there are multiple ways of proving it.

Sometimes it takes the form of, "That person saying it exists is still able to say that, so I don't know what they're complaining about."

The answer to that is that cancel culture isn't all-powerful, rather it's a burgeoning threat. Though at that point I suppose they can write you off for conspiracy theory. One thing we need is data showing the upward increase of cancellations since ~2014

Well, and honestly we all need a few resources on hand that deftly summarize cancellations (This article is definitely the best I've seen so far for that purpose) when we're saying the culture exists
