Why does the term "cancel culture" feel so cringey and like it understates the severity of the problem?
An accurate description would be too provocative. I'll take understatement for now.

"[term] culture" also just sucks in general because it's too easy to argue against the "culture" definition of it and ignore the the real concern it's trying to address.
