One of the most miraculous things about our tech infrastructure is the degree to which it depends on open source software. We mostly take this for granted, but a time traveller from 1975 would be very surprised by it.

Money is what one gets when the thing itself isn't reward enough.
Close, but I would say "needs" rather than "gets". People often do get money for work they enjoy, if so few can do it that those who can can get paid in both money and satisfaction.

i like how you had to remind people that we as a culture force people to work, regardless of their abilities or limitations, in order to have a place to sleep and food to eat, despite living in a world where we have both in abundance
