8 yo: We pretended we had a drug empire. Me: A drug empire? 8 yo: We had some batteries that we pretended were reefers, yoga blocks that we pretended were blocks of cocaine, a pizza box of fentanyl, a cardboard box full of meth, and two bags of weed.

Fentanyl I told him about in the process of explaining what happened to Prince and Tom Petty. I probably also told him about meth. Weed and reefers he learned about from MLG Peppa Pig. He may not realize they're the same thing. Not sure where he heard about cocaine.

I would suggest that illegal drugs are so persuasive in society and arguably so socially acceptable that the question is more how an 8 year old living in Western society would NOT know those drug names Drug policy is so broken global org crime so rife, politicians should be sued
