When will these amateur revolutionaries learn that the reason it's so easy to get at the statues is because those aren't what their opponents really care about? Try ending civil asset forfeiture, and then you'll see real resistance.

The message implicit in knocking down statues symbolizing racist oppression is that eventually protesters will run out of statues and, hey, politicians, wouldn't it be a good idea to start dismantling some structures of oppression before they start looking for new targets?
