We all owe a debt to the 1700s revolutionaries who moved the default Western World setting from(Kings/Nobles/Serfs/Slaves) to our world of free peoples and free associations. Could things like the Industrial Revolution and Startups have ever come to be if that hadn't happened?
Yes. The Industrial Revolution began in England, which didn't have the sort of violent revolution that France did.

Thank you. England domestically moved ahead with a rollout many of the enlightenment ideas (Bill of Rights 1689) that other societies of the time suppressed with force in their lands or their colonies.

Now that I reflect on UK history.... that Bill of Rights came only 50 years after The Parliamentary forces defeated the Royalists and beheaded Charles I & established the "Commonwealth" 10 years later Royalists dug up his corpse to put his head on a pike. Not a statue...but...
