That's a harrowing thought... In many areas of life what we believe is right today is distasteful in just a generation or two.
If not that, there will certainly be *some* reason they want to pull down our statues.

Any thoughts on what *some* of those reasons might be in a couple generations? My best guesses are eating meat, owning pets, and flying all the time.

Changes in moral fashions are wildly hard to predict. If you'd asked people in 1920 to guess what a children's book author in 2020 would be in trouble for saying, how many would have guessed correctly?

eating & inhumane ~farming of [sentient] animals, if I had to guess do we erect that many statues these days tho? the general practice feels archaic, like a vestige from building monuments to gods & kings. Particularly w/i the digital age
