Surely you don't believe that's what I'm saying. But just in case you do: I want people to be able to receive criticism, but not retribution. I want ideas to be answered with other ideas, and not with getting people fired.
Free speech needs to extend to the workplace. Some say democracy does too. I mean, long ago we stopped accepting kings and dictators in government. But people seem to accept them just fine in the place they spend most of their time.
It gets even more perverse the deeper you go. If you have a wage, you are paid after the work is done, typically 2 weeks. The employer is the debtor and the worker is the creditor.. Yet the creditor must do what the debtor tells them. It's a strange idea.
