A lot of the criticism Facebook receives is moral in nature. Criticising Henry Kissinger for being a war criminal doesn't mean that you could be a better war criminal than he is.

I disagree, nearly anybody else on earth could've run Facebook without destroying democracy with eyes wide open.

Even if the solution is, “welp this appears impossible to do, but I value my country/western democracies more than I love my obscene wealth, so I’m shutting it down/dramatically reworking the entire thing.” But that takes moral courage rather than intellectual prowess.

Of course this all depends on how one defines "better." There are many goals one might have running an organization like Facebook. If the goal is to make as much money as possible, you are probably right. If the goal is to be a good person, I think you're wrong.
