Weirdly many if not most attractive people harbor major self-doubts as well. The capriciousness of the world cuts all people down to size quite efficiently
Almost everyone has self-doubt. If you ask someone who's great at x if they're good at it, they'll often be genuinely uncertain. But if you ask them to name someone who's better, they won't be able to. That's one of my tricks for telling when people are good at something.
