Society is in the same pre-Newtonian moment and has been for thousands of years, so I'm not holding my breath for the appearance of a Newton. The most we can hope for, I think, is customs that work.

Agree. Society may never have a Newton as it is history based. Time is real in society but an illusion in Physics.
