When I do office hours with a startup, I often do it by going for a walk with them. In fact Jessica and I decided to start YC itself while we were walking home from dinner. (via @msquinn)https://www.newyorker.com/tech/elements/walking-helps-us-think …

If you remove barriers between people and location, whether that be cars, buses, or just time, it fosters more collaboration. It's much easier to say, let's keep working at 10pm if everyone lives 10 minute walk from the office compared to a 1 hour drive.

Huge fan of walking and talking and thinking. My youngest has ADHD like me - as soon as his legs start moving he starts talking, telling long involved stories. It’s like a switch.
