Startups that have one red flag usually have several. E.g. a startup with a made-up idea is more likely to have apparently unrelated problems, like a wildly uneven equity split, or founders who haven't worked together before.

I wonder how common it is for successful teams to use phrases like “consider...” or “I was wrong” etc. amongst themselves or with investors. In other words, maybe this is a positive signal, whether people have worked together before or not.
