  Outrage is the opposite of zen, it is disturbing and annoying mostly. I seek mostly balance and balancing distorted opinions of others, if possible, by trying to re-frame the situation and give alternative ideas how processes and systems function. Harmony is a fine goal.

  Also, activism seems to have infiltrated culture and the way people approach discussion & disagreement. In the activism model, the primary focus is on your side winning. The ends justify the means, and there's all sorts of tactics to stack things in your side's favour
