Startups that have one red flag usually have several. E.g. a startup with a made-up idea is more likely to have apparently unrelated problems, like a wildly uneven equity split, or founders who haven't worked together before.

Paul, Love all your essays - have read them many times YC original thesis was on college students building startups - they're domain experts in what they want/use In other areas hard to be domain expert without work ex Would love to learn who/why your perspective changed?
We got our perspective changed immediately when people applied who'd already graduated.

The whole 3m to build & raise was predicated on college students/summers? In hindsight knowing it's not for students would you change anything in that model?
