What advice would you give to a 22 year old who is just out of college in India and does not know what to do career wise? What would you have done if you were in my place? @elonmusk @paulg @sama @Suhail

Here are some questions that may generate useful answers. What kind of work do you find most interesting? Do you know anyone a few years older whose life you'd like to emulate? Are there specific things you want to avoid? What would a copy of you advise you to do?

At 22, esp if u are a 1st gen grad - u barely know urself/who to emulate. If it's unrelated to ur major - take that 1st placement u bagged out of college & network w ppl across functions - u wil glean lot more w your current job as a base context & make a better informed switch

In that one yr you find out a lot about the kind of wrk that u enjoy - independent contributions or client interfacing or non client interfacing. And while this one year learning curve might seem a lot now it will give you more clarity on your future course
