What is said is relevant for all unions .. This is questioning the whole premise of collective bargaining ?? #BlackLivesMatter is losing their plot by mixing politics with anti-racism movementhttps://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jun/11/police-unions-american-labor-movement-protest …

Amazingly, the major unions like AFL-CIO are steadfastly standing behind the police unions. The problem is not just police unions, it’s the entire Labor system that protects them. This article reflects a tiny chink in Big Labor’s armor: the Writers Guild.

The Writers Guild is the first AFL-CIO affiliate to demand the police union’s expulsion from the nation’s largest labor federation. The first!! It is shocking that no other union groups have taken this position. All other unions are complicit in protecting violent racist cops.

The GOP was right about public employee unions. There is something perverse about public employees organizing to fight the citizens who employ them rather than being forced to win at the ballot box.
