I feel like CLISP (https://clisp.sourceforge.io/ ) is under-appreciated and has enormous potential as a portable Common Lisp.

Not very performance heavy I think. I understand each user “store editor” got a dedicated Lisp process. Scaling is easy with this architecture by throwing processors at. I love this architecture, by the way.
