Important, but also blurred, and hard to find. I think it's more important that good information is not filtered out than bad information filtered in. There is a lot of energy towards discrediting bad info, but by the time good censored info emerges it might be too late.

I think gatekeepers would have been clearer but it wouldn’t have carried that air of passivity. A filter is a very active thing that removes what is not wanted
