Dr. King had something to say about moderates in his letter from a Birmingham jail. Now is not the time for armchair quarterbacks sitting in their plush fucking arm chairs ringing their hands about change.
I'm guessing from this that you have not read the essay. Is that correct? Because he was talking about intentional moderates, and one of the main points of the essay is that it's bad to be one of those.

I've read your essay. I try to read them all. Fundamentally I disagree with the notion that an independent thinker, and an independent chooser of her or his own questions, will have a distribution that places them in the middle of today's ideological spectrum
