One thing I didn't realize till I had kids is that when kids fail at something, it's more often because they get upset at doing badly than because of actual inability. If you're not careful, this tendency can continue well into adulthood.

The kids could get more upset failing when the parent is teaching, striving to be perfect. How do you deal with that?
