This is very good. I think it bears mentioning that "right vs left" and "Democrats vs GOP" are different axes. The parties are not equivalent in terms of their commitment to the rules of the liberal democratic game. (Not saying you conflated anything, it's just often conflated.)

You can also be politically non-binary and radical. Sometimes it's required to expand an overly narrow or polarised overton window.

A really good proxy for this in the startup world is Airbnb. I'm sure even you thought it was probably too crazy to work when you invested. Today it seems almost pedestrian as an idea.
