just as a general observation, current social media and news reporting are really lacking in this area of integrating pieces of information into a larger picture.
I think that's mostly because they don't realize the degree to which it's possible. Neither, incidentally, do the police who are committing these crimes. Which means (I hope) that they're not going to get away with as much as they think they can.
