This is the bi-product of constrained outcome/single path to victory. Company building has too many variables to be viewed as discretely as this. More important than talent seems to be timing and opportunity provided by network.

Hmm. Speed is an objective measure. The response to speed in the olympics is deterministic. Talent is hard to measure objectively, and much easier in hindsight. Response to talent is not deterministic. IMHO not a normal distribution either. But survivorship bias. NeXT v Apple.
