Thank you Paul for mentioning dang by his full name...he works very hard and replies to every email, even if it takes him weeks to get back. He always gets back to everyone. dang and HN moderators are the main reason I check out this community regularly.
I checked with HN moderator Dan Gackle. The reason this was top comment when you looked was simply because you looked at the thread early on, when a few random votes can make a big difference to the ranking.
