Google's culture means they'll be bad at abuse-prevention. They like to automate things, they err on the side of false positives, and they don't like to talk to humans.https://kodfabrik.com/journal/why-am-i-shutting-down-kozmos …

If you can make it an advantage to do abuse prevention well (rather than simply shutting down a superset of abuse), you can compete with Google.

I don't know, if its the lockdown, but these kinds of notices increased of late. I also faced it, for a website, which I ran for 10+ years without any problem. Often they had to encourage me to put more Ads. But now, it was found in violation. I tried a couple times 1/2

But each time, getting the same cryptic, unhelpful reply, I gave up. At least for a while. Thinking, may be it is the needed push for me to close this project, and start another. What could hurt, to some one, is they don't care for your long history of good use. 2/2

Exactly! I’m waiting for a response from Twitter Platform support for a month! My app got popular and hit the limit of tweets users can send, so I essentially had to close it for new users. I’ve lost momentum and don’t even know if they’ll give me the green light at the end.

Someone should make an antitrust case for abuse of monopoly out of this. He can't be the only one suffering.

Doesn’t @GetSift offer transaction, content and account fraud prevention and monitoring services here?

Isn't this a silicon valley culture? Probably started early last decade and has now spread to other giant companies globally. Millions would have suffered due to this kind of policy where you can't find a human to respond to your issues, have seen same on FB #RoboticResponses

That's my exact experience whenever I try to work with one of the Google platforms (Google Play, AdMob, etc) as a small business/independent just trying to do something cool without bad intentions. Here's one of my story from years ago:https://regblanc.com/blog/the-murky-waters-of-the-google-play-app-review-process/ …
