When I was around six I got a Commodore VIC20 that booted up into BASIC, so you had to learn programming to play with it. What's the equivalent for kids today?

Although things like Scratch I think do try and make programming fun.. still the instant ability to interact with the computer and do the BASIC equivalent of hello world is no longer a thing..
