People think of remote work as a way to work for tech cos without having to live in SF. But maybe it's the way the tech cos themselves can escape SF.

“Abandon SF” has been the narrative for the last 5 years, but I moved here for the network, and I’ve never regretted that. How will aspiring entrepreneurs build their network and VC’s get access to top deals if the ecosystem loses it’s geographical anchor?

I don’t get u, what u say is the network in Palo Alto will be most important , meaning startup still need to meet VC personally to beg for money, or listen to gurus in Stanford physically , all these can’t be solved by technology

That’s the point he made though - that Silicon Valley is more than SF. He believes a tide is coming when you don’t need to be in SF to feel connected to SV
