Good point. Make it too tough in beginning and one loses motivation.
As an 8 year old, Logo was much easier . We programmed cool interactive graphics. Even a simple Frogger style game. When I learned Basic at 9, I couldn't get why I had to number the lines, and why I couldn't do cool stuff with it. Seemed pretty stupid back then. Still does.
