If I had a cooking blog, it would have all recipes first, in simple, detailed, action filled glory. Then the story. If there even needed to be a story. To me, the recipe is map for each to find their own adventure within magic of the individual ingredients. Weave your own tale.

A food blogger told me the exact same thing. The story at the top is what builds SEO. That is why they appear at the top of the search results. In fact, go to 10th page of Google search. You'll see some recipe pages without story.
