Founders: What did you wish you knew or prepared for in the years leading up to starting your startup? My list so far: building key skills, cultivating cofounders and first employees, learning about unsolved problems, inner work (therapy) What else?
I wish I'd known how simple "business" can be when reduced to its essentials, which it often is in a startup. I thought that hacking was easy, but that "business" was a great mystery that I needed a "business person" to do. Really it's just getting people to pay you.
