27/137= ~20% inpatient intubated. Is that really any lower than other institutions? In MA, <20% in ICU and not all of those intubated. Wrt noninv vent, we still don’t know if it simply selects for less sick ppl. Perhaps sicker ones are the ones intubated. https://www.mass.gov/doc/covid-19-dashboard-april-24-2020/download …

Note: They had affiliated hospitals in China and Italy.. where it seemed they learned from others... it is sad that the US has not done more of this. You know, learn from people that already learned hard lessons.

Seems consistent with what one doctor from NY was saying on YouTube in regards to alternative treatments.

@paulg Note it said “high humidity” oxygen, which we now know kills virus faster than low humidity air. Ventilators are what are known as being put on “life support” and have always been a last resort. They introduce bacteria and only 1/3 Covid Px put on them ever recover.

Seems to be consistent with all stories emerging so far: a) This virus survives best at temperature of 8 degree Celsius. b) does not like high temperature c) loves closed, dark , cold rooms( homes, old age homes, hospitals, subway trains, closed offices). d) It hates sunlight.

The million dollar question to add to this: What is the time lag ( minutes, hours, days) at which topical(destroy by contact) approaches to destroy it are counteracted due to the virus having embedded/morphed too deep inside the body cells shielding it from topical interventions
