      I can believe Trump et al capable of just about anything, but I asked an expert and he said he's heard of zero actual instances of feds seizing PPE. So the only story here is "IL governor has unjustified fear," which is not much of a story.

      This article is very unclear what they mean by seizing. Do they mean their PPE was confiscated on arrival in the US? Or that there was PPE they hoped to buy, and weren't able to? Sounds more like the latter. E.g. that story at the end. 20k masks wouldn't be worth confiscating.

      I read that. Notice they don't talk about a shipment actually being seized, just someone worrying, based on some rumors, that their shipment would be. Surely if actual seizures were happening, those would take precedence in the news over mere fears of seizures.
