    Something I explained to my 11 yo: The biggest division in work may be between jobs that involve making new stuff (science, engineering) and those that don't (administration, sales), and you'll be a lot happier if you end up on the side you're suited for.

        recently realized that my life is essentially dedicated to finding money to pay engineers and designers to make things. liberating to: finally find the common thread, that i'm decent at it, and it's pretty fun too.

        Or in most cases they need to have a partner who fills the other category. Rare if you can do both. @naval talked about in his tweet thread and podcast.
