Every time you take your shoes on and off. The contactlessly delivered food that was set in front of your door that you think is safe. Wheeled luggage and strollers and wheelchairs that are moved into "clean" areas without proper sanitization

Positive testing with PCR does not mean that it is active and/or infectious. If the virus is airborne, it‘ll eventually end up on the floor, obviously.

Yet another reasons that shoes must come off when entering one's home. Now add to that, wash and sanitize hands after putting shoes on or taking them off. Might not hurt to sanitize the soles of said shoes as well. Likely need to think about strategies after shopping.

“...with the scientists themselves cautioning that the small quantities of virus they found at this distance are not necessarily infectious” - Less of a clickbait/fearmongering quote form the same article.

Not necessarily. Not as reassuring as you think!

Trillion dollar question = "is the virus still alive" (and by extension "for how long"). Wonder why/how that isn't known at this point? On a related note - small, "initial study" by German virologists:https://twitter.com/chip_james_/status/1248302505320230912?s=19 …

"We were in a household where many highly infectious people lived, and yet we did not manage to detect a living virus from any surface." It'll be interesting to revisit covid-induced norms (e.g., rinsing groceries, wiping down Amzn deliveries) down the road. https://twitter.com/NAChristakis/status/1248228331352461312 …

I am hopeful air quality will become a focus of society after SARS-CoV-2. Indoor air quality needs to be addressed with innovation. Air quality is a human right. This huge drop in N02 production from cars and industry will be a benefit I hope everyone demands after this.

Their #PPE is to the right. The US must focus on appropriate PPE relative to real infection risk or we will severely cripple our healthcare frontlinepic.twitter.com/rstw3ngrFX
