In order to find truth, you must want it more than you want to be right.
This is one reason startups are good at finding the truth. Founders have a choice of being rich or being right. You don't have to be so high-minded to seek the truth in that situation.

What works best in a certain situation is not necessarily the truth. Sometimes the only solution that works is clearly false and should not be followed.

Completely agree, the greatest founders are driven by a vision in which monetary gain is a nice byproduct but far from central.
