There are large differences in the carbon footprint of foods.
Some of you asked whether this is all due to methane emissions and wanted to know how much different accounting methods for methane mattered.

Calories/$ vs emissions would be quite meaningful. What’s expensive to one’s pocket, sustenance, and the environment..

Commodity or retail price? I'm guessing most of the carbon footprint is down to production/manufacture rather than aggregation of final servings.

Hannah has done this analysis per pretty much everything (weight, calories, protein, land use impact, and surely even more). But per price is a good idea we haven't looked at yet – will at it to the post-pandemic-to-dos.
