Taxes fund education and other social infrastructure that may have avoided Trump being in charge / poor government execution in the first place. A good government would involve institutions that use Gates' expertise. A good government would also not require crowdfunding PPE.

Taxes fund some good things, Taxes fund many horrible things and also inefficiency. Doing more good things like Health care, Education is not about raising taxes, faulting Billionaires. It is about using taxes raised in right ways.
