I think this is potentially a very random correlation. Worldwide data is too early to even correlate things properly. In my view if we cite a therapy that may be beneficial (like anti-malaria drugs under investigation) we should at least suggest a method of action.

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. TB is caused by a bacteria, not a virus. Probably a case of "correlation is not causation".
