The government isn’t an editorial writer trying to generate clicks. The expert most dismissive of coronavirus is the APA anxiety therapist. I wouldn’t see that person about the flu never mind coronavirus. As a freshman research paper it gets a C+, maybe. If read critically.

They aren't at all representative. For instance, this was the nytimes homepage on Jan 27. Daily accounts of the spread of the virus never left the homepage after that. A handful of articles among the biggest story of the decade doesn't make a trend.pic.twitter.com/4uqRTXF6yL
